In Australia there are three main health professions that primarily focus on the treatment, management and rehabilitation of the body using manual therapy techniques. All three professions treat the same type of conditions and there is often a sharing of manual therapy techniques and theories. There is however a distinct difference in the underlying philosophy and approach to treatment between each profession.
